I first started off at this school but at the time needed something more hands on. In pursuing my career and education goals it has lead me straight back to a school i love! Now i turn my passion into a reality and teach kids my passion and what drives me to be a better me for myself, my family and my community. They are awesome at helping you out along the way when you seem to not know what to do and they are quick to respond to get you in the right direction.
The coursework will keep you on your toes and they do keep you up to date on the latest things when it comes to your own academic road. For me trying to attain my master's in secondary education, they give a wide spectrum of knowledge in the field and when i am finished they will help me get set up and in a classroom to finally teach. So if you are looking for a great academics school, this is certainly where you need to go!
It's hard to say since I am just starting my first class. Based on admission requirements, I would assume academics are pretty average when comparing to other universities.
The communication between the counselors and the incoming students is amazing. I always got my questions answered in a timely manner and they were always clear, concise and helpful. I am excited to be earring my master's degree online at this school while working a full time job.
This is just my first semester so I am still new to the online learning at GCU. From what I have read so far and have been told it is pretty straight forward through the student portal. My major consists of doing one class at a time which I like so I am not overwhelmed while working.
I attend for my undergraduate and graduate program online. Although online learning was new to me in the beginning it everyone made it an easy process. The courses challenge you to learn and grow. I am not looking into a Doctorate program with GCU!
The atmosphere is great. The educators and scholars alike are nice and extremely helpful. I am excited about this journey that merges my faith, love of learning and being of help to special needs kids.
Even though things have changed significantly in the amount of time I have been out of school, it was easy to fit right in. Instruction was clear and assignments were precise.
